Dr David S. Sparks is a Senior Lecturer at Griffith University and a clinician-scientist and educator. Dr Sparks’ peer-reviewed research focuses on microsurgery, head and neck surgery as well as regenerative medicine and tissue engineering. He has published more than 20 research articles and has completed a PhD at the Queensland University of Technology in regenerative medicine where he was nominated for the Outstanding Doctoral Thesis Award. He is regularly involved in editing/reviewing research articles for major surgical publications and has been invited to speak at both international and national conferences, including in the United States.
