Dr Sparks has extensive experience in skin cancer management, head and neck cancer surgery and craniofacial tumour excision as well as complex facial reconstruction, with an approach that balances oncologic safety, functional restoration, and aesthetic outcome. Skin cancer of the face and neck is treated with meticulous excision and aesthetic-focused reconstruction, aiming to restore normal contour, symmetry, and expression wherever possible.
Dr Sparks has a particular interest and passion for facial palsy surgery which was a core part of his Craniofacial fellowship experience in Vancouver. He also regularly performs complex nose reconstruction after cancer surgery and manages facial fractures and other facial trauma. For complex reconstructive procedures, he frequently draws his experience in advanced microsurgical techniques, allowing precise tissue transfer, restoration of blood supply, and reliable long-term results. Across cancer, trauma, and reconstructive surgery, Dr Sparks’ focus is thoughtful, anatomy-driven restoration—prioritising function, facial identity, and durable outcomes for his patients.
